You describe using a knife to free yourself - is this to cut the cinch noose around you wrists?

I've never had to do this (though I do keep a knife ready as a back-up!) and can always wriggle my wrists out of similar ties - any thoughts or comments? Maybe I'm using the wrong (or right!!!) knots?

Yes. either the cinch noose or the wrist coil.

I think you need to make the wrist coil tighter. But it does not have to be very tight. You should be able to rotate your wrists inside the figure-8 coil (if you insert your wrists into the coil from the opposite directions and then twist them together.)

I finally had a chance to try a similar session -- with a couple of interesting twists.

First, I've found a compound, locking pulley set that started out on a sail boat. ( http://mauriprosailing.com/Merchant2/mer...ARVANGSYS1">http://mauriprosailing.com/Merchant2/me ... ARVANGSYS1 ) The system gives you a one-way 4:1 mechanical advantage. I use 5/16" nylon yacht braid to rig the pullyes. I've had that setup for a while and found it quite useful for a lot of different scenes, even self-suspension.

I tied the locking pulley to an ice lock and the other pulley to my wrists. I also used padded leather wrist restraints and a padlock to bind my wrists. The 4:1 mechanical advantage let me pull my arms further into a strappido position. The padded wrist restraints kept my hands and wrists from getting too blue. Instead of using a knife for release, I just dropped the key to the floor, so I had to get off of the bed and find the key to release my wrists. It worked, almost too well. More on that later.

The other twist involved tying in a 28 inch night stick instead of a butt plug. About 6-7 inches of the stick went in and about 20-23 inches stuck out between my legs. The ropes I used kept the stick from sliding out, but if I turned or sat the wrong way, the stick could push in deeper. The stick definitely limits possible positions and motion.

The rest of my set up was just about the same as your Session 19 -- hood, gag, blindfold, bound legs, catheter & tube. My fashion sense isn't as well-developed as your's. I just wore black Lycra tights and a black camisole.

Once I got the stick in my butt and my wrists locked in, I pulled the rope on my locking pulley slowly to pull my arms into a deep strappido. The night stick kept me from rolling over or sitting up. The tension on my arms and shoulders became quite intense, but I stopped pulling before it became too painful.

At about 2 hours the lower, I think you called it South, ice lock released. Having my feet loose was a relief but not much. At about 2.5 hours the second ice lock released. My arms and shoulders really needed the relief by then and it felt quite good. 😯

But I had made a mistake. I had knotted the ropes that held in my night stick in front. There was no way to reach them with my wrists locked in back. The night stick was well and truly locked in place. Since I was blindfolded, I didn't want to roll off the bed with the night stick protruding from my butt. So, after dealing with a little rising panic, I managed to roll on to my belly and work my legs off of the bed My feet finally touched the floor and I could kneel safely. After that, I managed to find the key and unlock my wrists. 😁

I found myself visualizing your photos to keep myself oriented during the session. That worked pretty well. I think that if I had tried the scene without seeing your Session 19, I would have had a much harder time. I'm definitely not going to try the night stick, padliocked wrists and blindfold combination without having two or three back-up releases. That was a little too sketchy.

Two things:

• I've been looking for the locking pulley system for years (in NL) to no avail. In a test mode I tried my own system of blocks and pulleys, but a good, reliable commercial system is a must[/list:u]
  • I remember we discussed the light stick earlier. Quite a dangerous stuff, isn't it? Probably the only more or less safe "T"-bar locked butt-plug or dildo is this one. (will add it to my wish list). I tried multiple methods, but the Anal Impaler (though, pricey) is the closest to the ideal penetration device.[/list:u]
    
    One possible addition to my Session 19 is a collar locked to the North frame. Probably to the same place as the Ring Device. The collar will prevent avoiding the tension in the "strappadoed" arms and will restrict the movements even more. So, for example, sitting will bot be possible (I could sit up during my session, see photos).

To be honest, I do not remember. But most likely - yes.

Actually, the danger always exists, especially if you put something in your mouth. Whether it food or a gag. It depends on the person, his/her personal abilities, condition and "features".
