Part 2:
I just notice that all the weight is on the ice lock.
This idea may work better.
Instead of using the ice lock, how about using a quick release in place of the ice lock. Then, take the release cord from the quick release, tie a small steel ring to it’s end. Then hook the ring to the ice lock or a pair of nylons with as much ice as you want.
When the ice melts, the ring falls allowing you to grab the release cord.
One pull of the release cord and you’re free.

Indeed, having the weight on the ice will make it melt faster.

I do have a quick release, used it a few times to have a weight hanging from the ice lock release it when it drops. That's definitely an option. I do need a few test runs with that to be sure as it's been a while.

I just love the idea of outdoor self-bondage, but can't find a location that feels 'safe' enough for my own play - I'm afraid I could never be so brave as to pick a location quite so 'public' looking as this one!

I don't know how you managed to orientate yourself so that we could see how you fastened your wrists - if it was me, with the hood and everything else, I'd have no idea where I was and the video would probably have showed only a 'face-on' view.

Thank you so very much for sharing another one of your sessions and inspiring me to think about how I could try some standing self-bondage too.

I made it look quite public by strategically placing the camera. Orientation was indeed difficult, I got quite dizzy as well in the sun wearing many layers and a hood.
