I had various tech issues on my Mac before with version 0.6.5, including some people not being able to see my files, so uninstalled it and then couldn't reinstall again. Now it seems version 0.6.6 has been updated for Mac to install correctly, so trying again.


Uploading files at the moment, 77.0Gb done at the moment and will have 200Gb+ when finished.

Sad to report that the 0.6.6 Mac build I installed above didn't work - but I have found another one that apparently works ok.

Update: connected with a couple of people earlier, so this 0.6.6 build seems like it may be ok. But I'm on a Mac and can't get Tor to work, so I'm using a VPN - which may not be as good as using Linux/Tor. I've now got a new (different) 0.6.6 build working on Tor with a Mac, finally. Everything eventually seemed to install automatically with 'green dots' everywhere and no manual intervention needed. The installation process seems like an improvement over previous builds. My head still hurts though.
