Oldest I could find are from 2007, the ones before that didn't make it past the multiple hard drive failures since then.
Here is a still from a video I made of me in a selfbondage hogtie.
If I remember correctly I had 2 rings on the ceiling, one above me for a rope to pull my wrists and ankles together and the other one had a weight to pull that rope. I tied my hands and legs, then pulled a rope to release the weight and that pulled me into a hogtie. Release was my computer where I programmed a timer to open the cd-rom drive, this pushed a weight off the table that pulled loose the knot on the ceiling ring above me.
Edit: Found one from 2006 with the same technique and the same crappy old webcam quality. Webcams weren't that common back then, at least in my group of friends. I know I've been doing self bondage for real since 1998 as i remember coming home from a school trip (one that only happened in nth-grade ) that year and doing some self bondage. So I started before that obviously but I don't have any specific event I can link to it in my memory. I definitely don't have any footage from back then since it predates mobile phones being commonly used and even the internet was something brand new, we were on dial up on a blazingly fast 56 kilobit modem.
In 2006 I needed to worry about a release method as I got better and better over the years and had some close calls where I barely managed to get out or had to scramble for a knife or scissors. Before that I assumed I'd be able to get out.
Looking at the pictures I see that in 2007 I had my own clothes, in 2006 I "borrowed" them from my sister's closet.
