The reason I’m posting this survey is that, in three years of promoting our fetishist holiday home, I haven’t had a single enquiry from Likera.

Yet people from other sites have come to stay with us. Some have even come three or four times.

It is NOT just a question of money.  In fact, at one point I offered FREE holidays in exchange for photos and videos. (Which could have been taken with a balaclava on) Even then, I received no response from Likera members.

CLARIFICATIONS:
1°) This message is NOT a criticism of https://www.likera.com/! + ! + ! In fact, for years I’ve found interesting topics, ideas and stories on Likera that I really like.

So I like to say THANK YOU to Likera, which has even created a sub-forum for us.

This is THEREFORE NOT ---> a criticism of likera but rather --> a survey.

2°) This message is NOT a judgement on those who only engage in virtual interactions / never meet in person. If that suits them, that’s fine.

Even then, I received no response from Likera members.

I do have some explanations. For example, this site was never intended as a dating one, unlike fetlife, which IS effectively a dating site (for pairs or groups). Also, BDSM dating IMPLIES role-playing. And this site was neither intended to be a gaming/RP one.

I have nothing against dating or role-playing - I'm simply not good at either 😆 Possibly, the site attracts similarly-minded people. That might be the reason why I can not even monetize it 🤣

For me, this site, is more about self awareness and discovery of one fetish and ideas.

Like self bondage, where you have some self control on how it all plays out.
Costumes, different outfits that that can be worn in both public and private. As in pantyhose and spandex. ( I like this, by the way ).

Art, sharing pictures and videos on what we find and do. An example would be that I found a site that shows how to do self suspension.
So I saved the pictures and posted them here.

For me, it’s all about costumes and selfbondage.

Last thing. Some of us are solo players, because some of us don’t have a partner, mate, or someone we can really trust, I had this happen to me twice.

Also, because of my work, going solo is best for me.

To add - I'm married. My wife, while quite accepting, is not into bondage or site-related fetishes. So, any dating is out of question. Also, we both are working from home, what means my "self-playing" is also very limited.

Actually, this site (which I really like) isn’t a dating site, but rather a place to share ideas, tips, stories, and so on.

So I’m not here to meet people for sex. However, what prompted me to run a poll is the fact that I haven’t had any contact since I signed up. I say this because:

- You can look for a partner who lives not too far from your home to make self-bondage sessions safer.

- You can play around with bondage with someone WITHOUT going to bed. ( ---> This is my situation as I am not a swinger / I am not looking for sex)

For example: I’ve tied people up for the night just as they wanted. I then untied them the next day. They never saw my genitals / I didn’t touch them / I wasn’t interested in what they had in their knickers)

For example 2: I have often shared shibari tips and tricks with people who were fully clothed (in swimwear so I could see their limbs clearly)

Example 3: since the fetishist guesthouse was set up, I’ve organised “Space Games” (outdoors on the property) where people tie themselves up and play on their own. These are treasure hunts based on bondage walking. If the person doesn’t return after 3 hours, I go to their aid.

Example 4: I have held the keys to a chastity cage on X occasions WITHOUT ever touching it.

What I like about this sort of NO SEX meet-up is the camaraderie between like-minded people.

It’s allowed me to make some real friends (with whom I’ve done other simple things like mountain biking and the like). It’s also led me to meet the woman who went on to become my wife.
