My wife and I tried to learn Argentine tango for FIVE YEARS! The clothes, the shoes, the dancing, etc. were all wonderful, but oh man was it hard. For every perfectly synchronized dance in close hold like this video there were hundreds of collisions (between the two of us), missteps, forgotten steps, steps on toes (a stiletto is VERY painful as much as stepping on her open toes), so we finally "gave up" and went back to country western. We still love to dance, but I don't find cowboy boots anywhere near as compelling 😊
