Lockink KeyPod and QIUI app review

In QIUI, if there is a master, the sub can not unlock the device. The sub can only ask for a permission, which can be either granted or not.

But! The wearer can simply unbind the master! 😆

Probably, only the hardcore mode offers the real bondage instead of role playing.

Looks like it's a moot point

It does not work, if there is no master. With a master, it works, but also not as advertised. I can stop the timer 3 times AND I can unbind the master 3 times. So, that's at least 6 forced operations before the first penalty.

Lockink Wrote:Users can force-unbind the owner, force-cancel scheduled tasks, and force-operate the device. The first two forced operations incur no penalty. However, after the third forced operation, a penalty period of 1 day will be applied. The fourth forced operation results in a 3-day penalty, and the fifth results in a 7-day penalty. During the penalty period, forced operations on the device are disabled and can only be resumed after the penalty expires.

Guys, please read what I wrote. Do not paste the same text over and over again, because it does not work like this.
Even in the master mode, if I unbind the device, all counters are reset to zero.
Apparently, it was not tested properly by your testers. I can help you with that, if you want.
Again, I can unbind at any time, and it resets the counters of forced cancellations.
Please fix the app!

If you still do not understand that your software is essentially useless, please ask the developers to check the logs on your servers.

Again, if you are interested, I can help.

Pity, finally, we have devices and software which could allow us to play bondage games without physically close partners, and stupid bugs ruin the whole experience...

It is my experience that companies that make hardware (possibly with electronics) spend as little time as possible on the software. My first run in of this was with my Atari ST, where the OS contained lots of bugs, but the Atari boss mr Tramiel did not deem it interesting to spend much money on software, and the bugs were not really repaired. It looks like you are running into something similar.

Unfortunately, I also have such experience, and it was quite frustrating...

I have installed several Chinese programs for remote controlling Chinese devices. They all look similar in their structure: timer, program, master/slave, forum, profile. So, it looks like all the companies use the same template/framework, and, possibly, even the same controlling protocol, just tweak the logic a bit.

Gives the impression that they use AI to create those programs. That is of course the easiest way to propagate errors.
In this case (or "these cases), it does not look like it was a vibe coding, because they look like one single (and quite old) platform. The apps exist for years.

Meanwhile, the Lockink support stopped responding to my questions. I asked them how to change the avatar and the top board (looks like it's also buggy and/or broken), Nothing back. Probably, "broken" and it's well-known. This thing works fine in QIUI.

I think, Lockink is severely understaffed. They closed the forum (apparently, because they do not have enough moderators), and they do not approve referendum requests during Chinese nights. No issues with QIUI.
