Another tip from Lockink support:

Aaaand now I'm really stuck. Around 26 hours this "day".... I moved both keys to the "fixed" keypod and used random setting. Got 10 more hours. I used all "free cancellations" for this month for the testing. 😅

That means, it will be my second night wearing the flat cage with a catheter (fortunately without the "negative funnel"). And if I don't manage to remove it between 5AM and 9AM, at 9AM I will get new hours from the referendum. And since I will be travelling from 14:00 until ~23:00 .... There will be no chance to remove it.

So, guys, I think it's a clear winner 😉
I don't like the device, only one key fits in it, so don't reserve keys in it possible
. the app is a drama Chinese - poorly translated -

I have been using the Masterlock 5440 or 5441 for more than 7 years, which can be opened and closed remotely by my Master with the Masterlock app, temporary access for cleaning, etc.

Let's create a separate thread (or a subforum?) for remotely controlled locks and boxes!

This thread becomes a bit confusing. I need to think how it can be split and better organized...

Just sent this to Lockink support:

Looks like I've discovered another bug. I can cancel as many timers as I want by unbinding the devices. Just did it 4 times in the last 5 minutes. The unlock counter resets to 0 every time.

Is it intended? Then.... it makes no sense....

One part is very easy to fix - just prevent unbinding until the timer is expired.

The second part (unbinding resets the forced cancellation counter) is more difficult, as the app must follow and store the device ID, together with associated counters.

And not in the app cache, because it can be cleared.

I hope they won't ban me or lock me in permanently .... 🤣

The support told me, that in order for the referendum time to be applied, the device must be already locked, then only an app restart is required.
But the referendum ends earlier than GMT+8, despite what the open/lock logs say. And the referendum timers are not in the logs.

It's all getting very confusing...

I hope both companies will jointly write one less buggy app with several safety choices, that will support devices from both companies.
Just checked - clearing cache and/or data does not reset the Lockink unlocking counter.

This is what I got back:

Lockink Wrote:Hi there, you can forcibly unbind the owner and cancel the scheduled settings. There will be no penalties for the first and second forced operations. Penalties will apply starting from the third forced operation: the first penalty is a 1-day restriction, the fourth a 3-day restriction, and the fifth a 7-day restriction. During the penalty period, you will not be able to perform any forced operations on the device and will need to wait until the penalty expires.

At least three forced operations are required for a penalty to apply.

Additionally, all penalties will be reset on the 1st day of each month.

If there is still no penalty, please contact the customer service of the store where you purchased the device to request a replacement.

Yes, great, but it's not working. I tried to clean up the data and cache, but still, I can unbind as many times as I want, and when ever I want. QIUI does not allow unbind while the timer is active. And if I unbind and then add the same device - all logs are still there. Also, apparently, QIUI tracks all device IDs as one device can only be assigned to one wearer and one master.

Lockink Wrote:If it's not working, there should be feedback from other users.

That's a lame excuse:

- I might be the first one.
- Nobody tried
- Nobody cares
- The feedback option in the app does not work
- 95% people role play, the "real stuff" is not important for them.
Sent to Lockink:

OK, I reinstalled v1.5.1 for Android and v1.3.2 for iPhone. And tested on another device.

Here I maxed out the amount of forced timer cancellations:

I couldn't cancel this timer, but I could successfully unbind and unlock the device.

Here you can see, that the amount of cancellations is reset to 0:

Different devices, different versions, different operating systems - same wrong behaviour .

What means - it's a software bug.

It does not work, if there is no master. With a master, it works, but also not as advertised. I can stop the timer 3 times AND I can unbind the master 3 times. So, that's at least 6 forced operations before the first penalty.
