Does anybody know a good source for a latex repair kit? I need a pair of patches, cleaner, glue, and a roller.

The best source I know for simple repairwork is the next bicycle shop. Get a repair kit for bicycle tubes and look for a disposable piece of latex to cut your patches from. If the area will be invisible and the thickness of the patch is not so important, you can even use the patches from the kit. Cleaning is important though, because latex absorbs a lot of stuff and doesn't like to be glued then. Soap and water seems to remove talcum and silicon oil and most of the stuff from your body. If it doesn't glue yet, try washing the area with acetone after removing the useless glue (just rub it off). Not sure, if this will preserve the colour, but the latex survives. Use sandpaper to roughen the area, if you need to improve the adhesion. This will, however, be visible, especially, when you polish the latex with silicon oil. After applying the glue to both sides wait, until the glue has dried and doesn't stick anymore. Then put the patch in place and apply a lot of pressure for a few seconds. You can use any round object - kitchen roller, broomstick, short metal tube (better wrap it, metal and stains on latex come together) etc. When fixing my bicycle tubes, I use the pump body to roll over the patch.

This is the cheapest method I know, and it worked for me. But I have no idea, if this works on chlorinated latex too.
