Latex in public

I know exactly where this spot is and it is very public indeed!

... so I'm intrigued as to how they managed to get this shot without causing a sensation!

It's just a matter of time.

When I remember correct, the empty streets in '28 days later' where shot on location in London, but at 5am

This one is interesting on a personal level and for a number of reasons:


 

I know exactly where this spot is and it is very public indeed!

I've run and walked here many, many times - it's always been bustling and full of people (locals, business men/women and tourists) during daylight and at night, so I was expecting it to be a photo-shop creation.

When I looked very closely you can see the reflection of the photographer in the latex! And the same reflection shows the boarding on the 'landward' side of this path,- thus 'proving' the photo was really taken in that location.... wow!

The date suggests 2009 (well within my travelling to/from that location) so I'm intrigued as to how they managed to get this shot without causing a sensation!

Alex Horn used to put them up from time to time on his L.A.TEX website, but I think I saw it scammed on pornhub or similar site

That CRT TV in the hotel room really dates it! Ha! Kids today have no clue about how big TVs used to be... err, I mean TV as in television set, not the other TV who can still be big and good for them!

And what did I say about people being around? Spot the group in the distance and the lady jogger around 1:10 in - I wonder what she must have thought was going on? Did she stop and ask? Did she finish her run and fantasise about it all day in the office (like I would have!)? Or, as I suspect from personal experience in London, did she simply ignore what was happening and not give it a second thought?
