My bridge arrived for the padlock I wrote about in other threads. It does exactly as advertised, I can now use WiFi to control the padlock. Unfortunately no functionality was added so it's still not possible to add the opening of the lock to any kind of home automation flow as you would a smart light bulb for example. So the automating of the actual unlocking is still done by the Automate app on my phone going through the motions.
So since I have the lock on WiFi now my next step will be exploring options like this:
https://pypi.org/project/tinytuya/ ,where I will try to see if the padlock lets itself control by Python script from a laptop or Raspberry Pi.

File-sharing/-storage (between my own devices, the smartphone of my wife and some devices of several friends), CalDav (e.g. I sync my workplace calendar with the Nextcloud and share the calendar of my user with the one of my wife, so she can see when I have a meeting), backup (of pics and vids especially from the smartphones) and notes across my devices. For the future I would like to use the module Talk more, a communication client using the capabilities of the Nextcloud including video-conferences and so on. And I just installed a small cms to try out. Maybe at some point in the future I use a module for a cooking receipt server as well.

Just a reminder that, as with Amazon having to fire people for using Ring to snoop on customers, you should assume that assorted companies are spying on you with all your home automation kit. A few years ago if I recall rightly, Google said their Nest devices had no microphones in them - until they enabled them with a software update. So, you know, just be prepared for the hacker known as 4chan dumping the contents of your cloud storage server online for people to go through.

What devices to add to test it? Temperature sensors (https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFvHkuZ, https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003707857013.html)?
Arrived! And working! And looking promising.
Back to my question: any known locks, vibrators?
