In this situation we must not forget that first victim of war was truth. We no longer get news articles and facts, but heavily biased opinionated half truths and blatant fakes from both sides trying to make other side look like a monster.

I see west chose to take everything coming from Ukraine as 100% unbiased truth and completely dehumanize Russian population and people in disputed separatists regions ( for dpr/lpr you prefer to even ignore their existence, like there are no civilians stuck there and Ukraine didn't bomb that region for at least 8 years).

But all in all this situation is huge win for Twitter, first time in history they canceled whole nation, country and it's culture.

o- UA is a separate and independent country
o- "The special military operation" is started by RU
o- Russian military forces are fighting on the UA territory
o- Russian and Ukrainian citizens die on the UA territory
o- Destructions are happening on the UA territory
o- Some destructions and deaths are caused by RU forces and were intended
o- The amount of deaths by violence and destructions have significantly grown since the beginning of the Russian "operation".
o- The "operation" caused 2,500,000 refugees.

Any objections to any points in the list?

My point is: you really know nothing about conflict, I know pretty much as much as you do and same can be said for other regular people who's only source of information is mass media and internet.

For non-russian/Ukrainian speaking people it's even worse, because western sources are extremely one sided.

UA reaction: It's a war crime and must be investigated!

Video 2: Dead civilians, dead semi burned naked raped women on streets, etc
RU reaction 1: It's all fake! It's all staged by Ukrainians! The corpses were moving!
RU reaction 2: UA killed them after we left Bucha!
RU reaction 3: UA shelled Bucha while we were there and killed hundreds of innocent people. When we left, then took the corpses and dropped them on the streets.

Video 3: Bombed theatre with children inside and huge letters "KIDS" outside
RU reaction 1: It's UA battalion Azov! UA bombed the theatre and blamed us!

Video 4: Bombed maternity hospital
RU reaction 1: We did not bomb any hospitals.
RU reaction 2: We bombed an empty hospital with Azov inside
RU reaction 3: It's all staged by Ukrainians! The corpse was moving! The same Instagram girl was the corpse and the covered in blood mother with a kid!

Video 5: Destroyed Mariupol
RU reaction 1: We do not bomb/shell civilian objects
RU reaction 2: Azov battalion put explosives in the buildings before leaving Mariupol, blew everything up and blamed us.
