Right out the gate, I understand that all hypnosis is self hypnosis. A file can not “force” the listener to feel/experience anything, they have to want it themselves.
That being said, I’ve always enjoyed the more “domineering” scripts. Ones that invoke the idea that the listener has no other choice but listen and obey the file (e.g the listener is stated to be scrapped to a machine, or can not leave for whatever reason, ext, ext.)
I thoroughly enjoyed the implication in the Goddess Zenova file “The mind control project” that the listener is tied to a chair. A personal favorite Bambi sleep file of mine Body Lock or Cock zombie, for the same reasons.
I’m not sure what to call this genre of hypnosis other than pseudo-bondage. Are there any other recommendations for hypnosis files like this?

Goddess Zenova sounds...Enchanting...
Although we're currently tied up with the Charlotte Gray experiment going on elsewhere (on Likera) we'd love to give her a listen.
Where would be the best place to find her work? Seems her domain is abandoned...

Shibbydex has a great script called 'Better Bondage' that's designed to be listened to while the listener is tied up. It teases you about the fact you can't get away from her voice, both mentally and physically. There's also a variation for someone who's crossdressing while they're restrained. I've listened to it a few times and always had fun.

I’m not sure what you mean by abandoned, but I do agree to a certain extent, finding reasonably priced content of hers has been a challenge.

Good point. I’ve tried out a couple of Shibby files in the past. Her website confused me a little bit, what with the “Haptics” files and all, but I suppose they aren’t required.
Maybe I’ll swing back over there and see what’s new.
