I’ve been thinking and working on out door session for years. Lately these sessions started covering a large area walking in stiletto’s all dressed up. My large hill post is the current project. Trying to film these sessions is difficult so I decided to start working with a drone to cover it. I’m not bound in any of these sessions since I’m in testing mode. I’m using a mavic pro drone setup in the active track mode. These modes have limits as you can see in the video. One, they need the drone to be above 10 feet or so and sometimes it loses the subject. Leaving a drone to do its thing while bound up isn’t going to workout so well. I’ve had the “return home”(RTH) feature kick in and off it goes and if I can’t get to the controller this could cause problems. In the second half of this video, I have the controller in my hands behind my back. I think this will work better I’ll just have to learn to control the drone with bound hands behind my back. During this working session I came up with the idea to maybe use the drone, while bound and dressed to find the key and navigate the easiest path to it. Not sure how that would work but I’m working on ideas.

I was also thinking about this idea. Possible problems: I don''t think it will work in forests (unless the drones have become very smart, and I missed this evolutionary step 😉 ).

A mavic pro does have some obstacle avoidance, forward and downward, and modes to handle it, although I'm not sure how well it works. Youtube has several video's that make's it worth looking at. However I might have come up with an idea. 

Visual Reality, VR Headset. Something like this:  Out side, all dressed up, hands bound behind back and of course a gag. But instead of a blindfold,  put on a VR headset connected to the drone, and then you have to use the drone to move around and find the keys somewhere in the field?  All this would have to happen in 20 minutes or so since that is the battery life on a mavic pro. I've got an area picked out but not sure about being that exposed and then you would need some emergency release.
