ERVY Sports Fashion

Interesting manufacturer, that produces very interesting competition gymnastic leotards: http://www.ervy.de/

"ERVY Sports Fashion is a German sports fashion manufacturer and specialist for vaulting unitards, leotards, dance, gymnastics & workout wear."

Unfortunately they do not sell directly, but there is a list of off/online shops in 16 countries. Not cheap, though.

About gymnastics, did you kow that man also wear leotards? Now when I go running, I wear a gymastics leotard with my tight running pants. Invisible for others, so nice for me

I think we all know that male gymnasts wear leos uder their stirrup pants, it's just that male leos don't have the 'fetish factor', at least for me.

I tried one on in Decathlon. Not impressed. It's more closed, than a usual swimsuit (what I like), but the material is less stretchy and less tight.

I have bought quite a lot of leotards and catsuits/unitards made by Ervy through the reseller Shinys-Sportswear: http://shinys-sportswear.com/
They don't have the best webshop out there but do offer more configuration options for the suits that many other Ervy resellers don't offer. For instance, most (if not all) of the clothes can be ordered in male sizes. Even clothing that normally are intended only for women.

As for Ervy, I think they provide excellent quality and simply love their fabrics which are all really smooth, silky and shiny. I especially like their "Lycra Super Gloss" fabric line that have many bright and colorful wetlook fabric choices.

I have adopted using an item of clothing called a 'Body' from Fets-Fash to wear over tights and under my cycling bib-tights when I go out.

It is very similar to a one piece swimsuit (woman) but with no zip. They cut it for men (cupped groin), if you ask for it - which makes it very comfortable.

I have a couple in black elastane lycra, and one each in Wetlook, leather look and Stretchlack shiny. The last two have a thong option and since the tights I use are various colours, might be thrillingly visible in the light of car headlamps as I peg it along the road.

The stretch lack has the least 'give' in it, but is the most kinky as it 'breathes' the least.

They've certainly improved my motivation to exercise!

I will be acquiring a long sleeved version for winter.

Twice in one night - can't seem to ship to the USA from these folks. Any other webshops carrying Ervy that have worked for others?

I own several Ervy leotards, the ones I have I bought in 2011 at an Ervy store in Zurich Switzerland. I normally don't buy cotton leotards because I only like shiny spandex, but their leotards had high cut legs which I only wear. I bought two suspender leotards in aqua and pink, which are not styles easy to find these days and two very thick, heavyweight marketed 'volleyball' leotards.

That store and On Stage Dancewear in NYC are the only stores I've been to that treat men buying leotards as normal. When I was looking around, a sales lady came up and asked if I saw the volleyball bike shorts "which are made to be worn over the leotards for a more modest look, otherwise if you want to wear the leotard by itself, they are made heavyweight for a reason". That comment totally caught me off guard.
