Grower as well, and on 2 versions of the Vice I've had it slip out of the anti pullout and turtle behind it. I'm going to try an old luthiers trick to reduce the space between the so called tightest vice (or rather add on to it) by using crazy glue and baking soda. If it works I'll post about it.

The ring is very tight, so I can't wear it longer, that several hours. But it's the spikes at the top, that prevent pulling out.
