As much as I love this " Art ",
To me, that is, I think D.I.G.I.T.A.L. Art sucks.
The guy or girl that can pick up a pen or pencil and create art on paper wins me over every time.
I can't draw. I can do schematics and designs, but art?

I do understand the points @Vixen and @Tinker D make about the different media/technologies used by artists and also agree that a well hand drawn scene is, in my opinion, better than a CGI one.

But... If using the aids offered by technology allows those of us less artistically gifted (and that includes me) to translate their ideas into images then I'm ok with that. There are, just as with hand-drawn art, good and bad examples of this.

And that's great if it works for you. CGI has lots of uses, and is getting pretty good.
But CGI is not ART, and Art is not CGI.

As always, it's not about karate vs kung-fu vs aikido vs krav-maga vs box vs ... It's about how this particular person is good in karate or aikido or box etc. The art is in the artist, not in pencils or PhotoShop.
