I found this photo on some blog (now lost). Anyone think it's a young man?

Asked my wife. She thinks that this is a girl. Actually, the private boys parts at this age should be more pronounced.

Yes, I was looking at the crotch area too for clues, and thought, well, just maybe there was a bit of crossdressing going on (trusses or whatever!). So maybe the simplest option is the correct one.

On the other hand, after all those hermaphrodite scandals, you never know... The face is very boyish, the figure is not, but at around 10-11 years old and so much "on-stage" make up no face will look natural.

The kid's face reminds me the girl on this photo:    

Heavy make-up, face expression, pink latex vs red leotard. Dunno why. Probably just my imagination and weird associations.

Your pic doesn't look in any way masculine to me, whereas I can still only see "boy" in the face on my pic - there even appears to be a bit of moustache shadow! These judgements are all subjective of course, conditioned by how the mind interprets what the eye sees.

I do not mean that "my" pic looks masculine, I mean that the make up and face expression are similar on both photos.

Yeah, right, the moustache/beard area does look suspicious... Also the size of the head appears to be less than the size of the face. I wonder if Photoshop was there.
