And how to get out?

My thoughts too!

The concept is quite fascinating, but at a practical level escape MUST be possible and reliable (at least for solo self-bondage play).

Intrigued to see how this plays out.  😉

Tie screwdriver to an object (table leg, radiator, etc.) with lots and lots of tape and use one of those timer padlocks that self-unlocks to keep you away from the screwdriver.
Backup: more screwdrivers, more timer padlocks chained. Or phone and no socks.

One other option would be to modify the print to include a short stick or edge that allows manipulation of door lock, to be able to get out and seek help.
Where did @Lancer end up posting the 3D files to? I’ve looked on thingiverse but was unable to find them. Thanks for the great ideas!!
I printed a pair of the Selflocking Bondage Mittens a number of months back and have used them a few times. They're SUPER simple to click into.

What I've done is use a ice lock to chain myself to one side of a room. I'll put in a zentai, catsuit, leotard or something else fun. I'll then put a chain around my waist then to the ice lock then to a solid object. Then snap on the mitts. I'm stuck until the ice melts and I can move to the escape tools (screwdriver) on the other side of the room. I just use my mouth to manipulate the screwdriver into the release hole. Wearing a gag makes things much more tricky 😊

3D printing has been a ton of fun!
So I'm in a position where I can't buy anything online but I can 3d print stuff with my resin printer. Anybody with a resin printer have fun models to print? I really want to make one of these (found posted here) but idk if there are any 3d models - I'll probably find a good pair of cuffs to print and then model these myself

The problem with that design is that it can rotate around the ankles. You should make the front part wider, curved around the sides of the ankle with round/oval openings for bone protrusions (I don't know their names in english).

I'll second this, is there any chance of @Lancer uploading the 3d files, be it on thingiverse or otherwise? As I was reading through the thread, I was getting really excited to try printing the designs he was describing and sending pictures of, only for the files to not be posted anywhere yet 😟 (at least that I can tell). The designs seemed really awesome, and I'd really love to print and try them out!
