In my rope bondage tutorial a few years ago, I mentioned a simple way to tie your wrists together pretty firmly but totally escapable - it only takes time. Basically, you make a loop around one wrist, then make another loop around the other wrist, then around the first one etc. until you run out of rope. The only trick is that you turn the loops, so the rope that comes out is underneath the rope that goes into the loop. If you leave some more rope, you might be able to reach the ankle tie and tie it off there. If you pull that tight enough, you cannot undo the loops around your wrists, so if you cannot open the knot around your ankle tie, you need scissors.

The second idea was to use a pretty long rope to tie my ankles, then tie the end around one wrist and follow the same method as above. It feels quite daring, if the rope between the wrists and ankles gets shorter, perhaps, you will get one hand in with a big struggle, but then not out. Well, this defies the hole idea of a tight but safe hogtie, but if you have scissors around and get the length of the rope just right, it can be fun.

The new idea goes like this: Starting again with the ankle tie, but then pull the ankles as close as possible to one wrist and loop around. Then loop on until you are happy or run out of rope. Like this, you can get the hogtie really tight but you are still on the safe side. If you like some uncertainty (and have scissors in reach), you can stop looping before you run out of rope, and wrape the end around the tie between your wrists. You can even tie this off around the piece of rope connecting wrists and ankles and notice, how the knot slips up to where you might not be able to reach it. Before you try this, remember, that you are pretty immobile now. Getting the scissors into your hands mght be a real challenge!

They are very sturdy and comfy, as they are supposed to be used to pull weights with your wrists. There is no way to get them undone without using your other hand so for any bondage where your hands are apart it will do nicely. More comfortable than ropes and faster to put on. They are very sturdy and comfy, as they are supposed to be used to pull weights with your wrists. There is no way to get them undone without using your other hand so for any bondage where your hands are apart it will do nicely. More comfortable than ropes and faster to put on. They are also the good size to do this if you want to feel extra secure:
