It can also fool the brain into making them look 3D with goggles.

There is the MMM on Steam but its more like VR Spirals paired with an mp3 hypnosis file. There's also this app https://github.com/ohgodhowdidthis/trance Quote:trance is a program designed to aid self-hypnosis by displaying images, animations and text in randomly-generated patterns. Didn't actually try it with SteamVR as an actual VR app, but generating SBS videos overlayed with spirals works good.
The idea behind SBS or stereoscopic video is that you'll use a player that will assign one half of the video to each eye of your VR headset. That will give a 3D, or at the very least viewfield-filling experience. I've yet to get a player application that can get that to work properly on my Valve Index. I'll try that VaR one that was mentioned above. Hadn't heard of that one before.

Ah, I got tricked by being at the end of page 1. This a ![]()
So are there no VR videos out there which will provide a POV view of what is happening to you? I was looking for a pov video in VR that shows your body or being transformed based off the hypnosis suggestions currently being said. Or waking up and opening your eyes and seeing a female body from the VR. I think that would be pretty powerful.
I'm looking for some intense videos and have subscribed to the Sleepy Crown patreon to see if their VR videos are any good. My initial impressions are that the VR videos (and even flat screen ones) are very well made and they understand how to use the VR perspective effectively. Definitely worth a watch if you have a headset and you are interested. The VR videos can be downloaded, so you don't need to stay subscribed unless you want new content or just want to support the creator.
One thing worth mentioning that I personally do not like as much, is that most of their content is narrative driven and place you in a story while also reinforcing mantras and behaviour. If that sort of thing works for you, great! Then you should really try it out. Although I am enjoying the quality of the videos and they still make me trance, I am less fond of this kind of hypnosis and prefer files that directly try to affect you instead of telling a story or placing you in a hypothetical situation. I tend to bounce off of BS files for example where I am placed in a scene etc. Still, good quality videos and probably some of the best VR ones I've seen so far. |
