I saw some drawings that had been posted here and thought maybe people would be interested in some photos?
For me personally, the excitement isn't in being asphyxiated, it's in the CONTROL and humiliation aspects, e.g. being 'forced' to inhale smoke, or the smell of a pussy. Or being held down and smothered. It's for this reason that I'm a BIG fan of facesitting, Queening, ass-worship, etc.

My love of asphyxiation comes from loosing control of my breath. Being tied down while someone suffocates me with a plastic bag, or even filling a bag with water turns me on. Hopefully some day I can experience it.

I'm not sure if that excites me or not. I think it's more of what you said earlier about the loss of control.

Scientists claim, that low oxygen can definitely cause an erection which is not connected to any sort of fetish or bdsm tendency. Don't ask me for sources, I forgot. But I clearly remember, that I found the text fairly reliable and the explanations made sense.
As for me, I can't tell. I do like enclosing hoods, and I really like it when the material is sucked against my face. But not being able to breathe causes discomfort. So I don't think, that I am into breath control. A bit of hard breathing is part of playing with enclosed hoods, but the less, the better.

Yeah I have seemed to stumbled on this fetish by accident...
I bought one of these last week...
It's Darlex of course... nominally non-breathable... Only 2 small holes to breath... the effect totally awesome...
So I've now replaced one addiction with a MUCH bigger one!!!
Winter Fetish did a good job on design... there is enough air if one hole blocks and you can breath through the seams at a pinch (you need a very cool head to do this). The way the hood is done it's not possible for me to move my head out of alignment with the breathing holes.
Oh yeah it has a lockable zipper. You can lock and move to that sweet spot between your shoulder blades where it's so hard to reach.
My only remaining challenge is to do the clinch strap by myself. I think I've got is sussed but need a few sessions to experiment.
