Wrap that is used to secure stuff on palettes is very strong, something around 20 microns thick. I have wrapped quite a few palettes this way. In order to stretch the wrap, I have to lean against it. If you have ever seen strong cardboard boxes being squeezed that way, you might want to go for ligher material. On the other hand, squeezing cardboard boxes requires four or five layers of the wrap. So it might be okay to do a few light wraps on your body and finish off with one last tight wrap for a nice shape.
