RSS feed help - PurpleVibes - 11 Mar 2025 I was recently introduced to RSS feeds and I was happily surprised that LikeRa's Naughty Playground supports it! I think I'm late to the RSS party since all news feeds are now commonly integrated into websites along side algorithms and whatnot, but I kind of dislike that 'ultra automatization' side of today's internet philosophy. I connected by clickling the RSS Syndication link at the bottom of the site and selecting the option Syndicate All Forums, however my feed looks different than the 'Latest Threads' section. As I mentioned, I'm new to RSS so any help on how to sync with that section would be very appreciated. Also, if you know more about RSS, what advice would you give to a beginner? I'm currently using Quite RSS since it is the only desktop application I found, most other options are web based, which at least for me defeats the purpose of having an easy to digest list of news ready from the startup. RE: RSS feed help - Like Ra - 11 Mar 2025 I've just added another RSS feeder: https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/feed.php Can you compare which one you find more useful? RE: RSS feed help - PurpleVibes - 11 Mar 2025 Thank you! 💓 Trying to compare them I came to the conclusion that both are super useful, as I see it, the previous syndication link works on a Thread level displaying only new threads but it is difficult to keep up with current posts, that works great for me because this brain of mine is not what it used to be and sometimes I struggle to recall if I have read a thread or not. Then the new feed URL is an mirror of Recent Threads section which is exactly what I was looking for, it is even better as it is more detailed, now I can read each new post remotely 😁 RE: RSS feed help - Like Ra - 11 Mar 2025 Great! Thanks for checking! RE: RSS feed help - Like Ra - 11 Mar 2025 I've added "RSS Feed" link at the bottom. RE: RSS feed help - PurpleVibes - 20 May 2025 So far so good, I almost regret the amount of content I missed before I started using RSS. It feels like a completely different website now, full of life and new content I didn't know I wanted. One question though, does the site register my visits through RSS or is it better to login daily? or it doesn't matter and my INFJ personality is over analyzing things again? And the site allows downloading all attachments in the guest mode. Only the archive session ids available for the registered users only. Just read? Not needed. |
