Every people thinks that their music is the best and most important in the world, Iranians are good at that too. Indeed, they have a very cool instrument which is called "Tar", sort of the Persian banjo:

I almost forgot the ney, Iran's clarinet, but much harder to produce the first tone on; one of the most important instruments in Persian music. One of its masters, Hassan Kassaiy:
