Flash support - Zooy - 04 Dec 2020 Today I upgraded my Apple notebook to their newest OS (Big Sur) and they 'improved' Safari to the extent that flash player works no longer. It is gone and when I try to download it, Adobe says that they discontinued it. Problem: the games say all that they need flash player. Considering that that program is being discontinued, other computers will probably run into the same problem sooner or later. Is there something that can be done here, or will it just be <sniff, sniff>? Apple never actively supported Flash, but accepeted it as a work around, but they always had their architecture poised in readiness for HTML5 Sites/games that have not recoded for a non flash experience are living on borrowed time unfortunatly irrelevant of Win/MacOS RE: Flash support - Like Ra - 15 Dec 2020 There is a solution I'm currently testing: https://ruffle.rs/#releases https://github.com/ruffle-rs/ruffle It can be run separately, used on a website or as a plugin for Firefox/Chrome/Edge/Safari. It works perfectly fine in Firefox 85b1 for Linux. I think it's even faster, than Adobe Flash 😁 RE: Flash support - Zooy - 15 Dec 2020 (15 Dec 2020, 22:52 )Like Ra Wrote: There is a solution I'm currently testing: https://ruffle.rs/#releases Sounds good. I like the rust programming language. It makes it much easier to avoid many types of common errors. I am looking forward to the results of your testing. RE: Flash support - Like Ra - 15 Dec 2020 Games (https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/games.php) are working fine in Firefox 😊 I'm reading how to add the corresponding files to the web-pages.
