There is another video on mesmerism in his channel. Interesting stuff... As a skeptical scientist I am, well, skeptical. But this creates in me the desire to experiment and test tje results.

No idea.
I assume there is a physical mechanism (assuming the video is a truthful representation of events) but can't imagine what it could be.

. I don't buy Sheldrake's morphic field ideas... That being said, my 3 year old son once told us that Granny is crying. Well granny was 12'000 miles away but sure enough, when we Skyped later that day she had been crying when he said she was. On another occasion I had a deep sense that a friend was in trouble, enough to move me to pray for them. Later I learned, at that exact time, they were caught in the middle (an innocent bystander) in a stand-off between the police and drug dealers. It does seem people might be able to connect in a non-material way. As a religious individual, I am inclined to explain it away as a "spiritual connection" communicated person to person by the Holy Spirit. But in this case, I can't see the the Holy Spirit being used to evoke orgasmic ecstasy.
I was more impressed with the guy who could set pieces of paper on fire in is bare hand than with this other guy.
