Some pics of my last project to replace the electro lock (flash and burn)
My old system

Time to évoluate

1 little hole and 1 big on the other side

Little is fix and the big one can fall

Time to freeze and wait to test it

Nothing, just some need of change, to had a little bit more fun.
I try the electro paddlock, but he flash, burn, stay lock, and die... with me inside lol.
So ice always melt and more secure

I think your system is a little flawed.

I think that the holes should be in the end caps. Not in the pipe.also I notice that the eye screws threads could hang up together so when the ice does melt, the keys will still be in the air and out of reach.

For now that's works correctly, but i don't want to deal with rhe devil 😉

I done a new one, and it work's perfect, easier, stronger and safe.

New build

After a night in freeze

it's work perfectly

thats quite neat... I like the use of the bracing bracket...
drill more holes in it and you have stronger hold too!
