Self-bondage scenario, flaccid unlock - essanym - 15 May 2019
I was brainstorming last night, as I usually am, and I happened to think about self-bondage that you can't get out of while you have an erection. Have any of you ever considered this? What are some ways to build such a system? Would any of you attempt such a thing?
When I'm in self-bondage, I'm usually able to have 3 orgasms in a row before I feel like I'm done and the erection is lost. But even still, I can get out whenever I want. When my girlfriend binds me, she forces me to have multiple orgasms before she lets me out so this would great way to be in that predicament while playing solo.

Sounds like a great idea. First thought that springs to mind. Is some sort of rigid band that goes around your cock. The band has some sort of switch too and bottom that are pressed when you are erect and released when your flaccid. When disengaged it sends a signal to disengage a maglock or lower a key? First thought that popped in my head anyways

That would certainly be useful for what I'm thinking but I'm not sure about using a tube of mercury though. There's got to be another way to do this. We need a solid-state erection detector.

I like the idea. I wouldn't like to play with tubes filled with mercury though... Actually, I would't like my penis to be confined noticeably at all. Perhaps a double-layered condome-sort of thingy.... Once the penis grows, it will increase air-pressure between inner and outer layer and you could either measure that or have a contact with less and less electrical resistance, when the pressure grows. Perhaps, it should not be watertight, since pee can increase the volume a lot too. This would be a very individual item, because it would have to have quite precise measurements to work properly.
OK, just read the original idea properly, the mercury tube is close to what I wrote. However, old phones use coal in the microphone, that changes resistance because of the varying air pressure from the sound. No idea, if that effect can be used.
Alternatively, temperature could be helpful. I suppose, the blood, that causes the erection, is constantly refreshed, so an erected penis should be warmer than a flat one. And, if you like electro-stimulation, an extra sensor would't matter much anayway 😁

Does anybody know what devices were used for the (now busted) gay/straight test? Where refugees, who claimed to be gays, were tested if they are getting aroused while watching gay porn? AFAIK it was a kind of erection detectors.

How about two halves of a circle made of spring steel glued to a flexible plastic tube, like a cockring? As long as you're erect the halves don't touch each other an the circuit is open. When you get flaccid the halves close and so does the circuit, triggering the release.

Nice. That doesn't even have to be spring steel. It just has to have conductive contacts. I could 3d print that.
