I have found that listening in the dark with no distractions - lights, noises, videos, screens - and without touching yourself, unless commanded, is the most effective way to listen to them.
An important note, though I am not sure how impactful it is to my experience, I am a regular cannabis smoker. This is the first time I have had this kind of experience listening to hypno.

It feels like a strong file and I think it's my favourite so far, aside from Subliminal Sex with is one of the free ones and still completely incredible.
She does say that the listener should turn off the TV and eliminate all distractions so it makes sense that that makes it stronger. Before I felt like the spinning was there because I was fighting through the listening in the dark and going to the gym instead but now I agree there must be something in there that causes the spinning.
It hasn't stopped me going back and listening to it again though, and I've not had the spinning every time. That said, I swear I hear different stories and instructions each time I listen so maybe my brain is picking out different things.

Regarding the dizziness
I know in one of her files at least here are suggestions to feel drunk that are pretty clear. I think it may be in one the TTP files, but it may also be in LSD.
Edit: I listened to Hair Trigger last night and I distinctly heard, "You feel drunk in the underneath tracks."
