RE: Mobile client quote test. - ltxrob - 11 Dec 2016 Chrome is the same. Hit quote on a post and it jumps to quick reply box but no quoted text appears. RE: Mobile client quote test. - Like Ra - 11 Dec 2016 OK, that means more troubleshooting... RE: Mobile client quote test. - Like Ra - 11 Dec 2016 Strange... I've just tested on Firefox 51.0b5 (Android 6.0) and Firefox 42.0 *Android 4.0.1) - both quotes work fine: Left quote (Blue) - make a selection in a post, then click the blue "Quote" - the selection appears in the Quick Reply Right quote (Black) - click on the right Quote - the whole post appears in the Quick Reply textfield. I tested with ABP enabled and disabled, both HTTP and HTTPS. Is there a plugin installed that might block JavaScript for this site? RE: Mobile client quote test. - ltxrob - 11 Dec 2016 Ahhh ok. Right quote (whole post) works. Didn't realise that was a 'button' as the left one looks more functional. But the hyperlink looking blue one (left) does nothing in opera. RE: Mobile client quote test. - Like Ra - 11 Dec 2016 The problem is I can't replicate what you see, so I can't troubleshoot it. The only idea I've got is to check if JavaScript is allowed. BTW, does it work if you switch to the desktop version on your mobile? RE: Mobile client quote test. - ltxrob - 11 Dec 2016 (11 Dec 2016, 23:39 )Like Ra Wrote: . BTW, does it work if you switch to the desktop version on your mobile? Don't know I'll test when I get a chance. But being able to use the full quote works ^^^^ Then I just delete what I don't want. :-D RE: Mobile client quote test. - Like Ra - 12 Dec 2016 Today I noticed that the design of this site is completely broken in IE. It turned out that IE was setup in the compatibility mode (aka IE 6.0-7.0), which is not compatible with the current software. This also can be related (there are plugins that emulate Explorer). |
