RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Culmor - 08 Nov 2017 Every time I've tried to import anything into the UK from outside the EU I've always been hit with a MASSIVE tarriff (with only one exception). That's only one of the reasons I voted remain. Plus, there's always a description of what's inside on the box it arrives in. Sadly, the inmates are now running the asylum 😟 Those rules will apply to importing anything from anywhere into the UK shortly so if you're in the UK and want anything from the likes of ALiExpress get your finger out! RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Like Ra - 08 Nov 2017 Just ask them to declare a lower price. Usually it works (not always 😟 ) RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Culmor - 08 Nov 2017 Ahem. Confession time. From time to time I get mails from the customs to provide more clarification and price/cost confirmation. It should be in EU. If the seller declare modifyed value, customs may ask for the invoice, and if that is missing or modifyed, you need to show credit card list of payment and order details from Ali, eBay, etc.... Sometimes they just let go, but if the product is technical and in kind of a big box, they will follow the procedure RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Like Ra - 28 Mar 2018 The anniversary sale begins today! |
