Assume that you're using an ice-lock (Ra's design?) - how well does it work? How long does it stay locked? And are there 'leakage' problems?

Ok, sorry it took so long.
I dressed myself in shiny spandex before I tied myself up. Because this could be a long session the tie must be something "comfortable". For release I used the ice lock as described on this site, the large version with a release time around 4 hours. A black spandex hood with muffle style ball gag to keep me quiet were added for that helpless feeling.
Normally I would prefer a hogtie with my elbows tied together (not touching, I'm not that flexible but I can get them within 10cm from each other) but that gets uncomfortable very soon. I decided on a frogtie for my legs and a boxtie for my arms. I used a variation on the technique I used for the bridesmaid video.
Things that went well and some that did not: The tie itself was comfortable enough for a long session. The ice lock is a bit to long, I could almost reach it with my hands. Next time I will not attach the lock to the ring in my neck but pull only the rope from the lock trough it. The lock will then be out of the equation and that would allow my to pull the strap even tighter. After some struggling I did manage to get out by wriggling a finger around the lower rope loop and pull it over my elbow. This allowed my arms enough movement to escape from the strap coil holding my wrists. It did took me something like 15 minutes before I could do that.
Next time: A small adjustment to the tie, better securing the rope loop so I can not use the same trick to escape. Now I only cinched the upper loop but I will do the same to the lower loop. Maybe I should also tie my legs together, that makes it a lot harder to move. I'm not sure yet because I feel like I'm running out of escape routes so the next time I might be in there for the full 4 hours ( or a bit less if I can manage to transport some body heat to the lock, which will be harder if it is no longer between my shoulder blades ).

You might notice the different video quality and some extra angles. That is because I bought 10 cheap digital cameras. Together with a microSD card for them all it was just over 80€. So that with some halogen spots I bought at Gamma will get you this quality. It is not great and encoding it for lower file size did alter the quality but all in all I'm pretty happy with how it worked out. It would be better if the viewing angle was a bit wider but it is what it is. What do you think of my editing? I would like to try more of a storyline in stead of a factual representation. Any ideas what you would like to see? I'm limited to myself and a single room.
For my next video I would like to ask you requests or suggestions. How will I dress up? Want to see me try another tie? I'm planning a self suspension but that will be something for July/August. Let me know what you want to see.

The camera's are really the cheapest I could find, even if they suck I would have stuck them on a bike or something and try to get some cool shots. I have 10 of these:
eBay: KDQ5 video camera webcam
you will also need to order micro-SD cards for them but our Chinese friends have those very cheap as well.
Some drawbacks: you point them and hope you film what you want as there is no viewfinder, the aspect ratio is off so you will need to correct that manually and they don't film a very wide angle so you need to be hogtied about 2 meters away for you to be full on screen. Of course I tackled that last part by pointing 10 of them in my general direction 😁
They do come with lots of stuff like little standards and clip-ons, that makes them easy to aim, they can also stand up on a flat surface so just putting them on the floor works too.
I don't do much editing, the aspect ratio correcting and some cutting. I'm a big advocate of open source software and my video's are done with avidemux, openshot and kdenlive on Linux Mint. However for video editing I will make an exception and I do NOT recommend doing this on Linux if you are new to Linux. If you still want to try I'd recommend installing ubuntuStudio (http://ubuntustudio.org), it comes with everything you need preinstalled and there is lots and lots more to install in the software manager.
I have said this before and I will repeat it over and over: BUY MORE LIGHTS. I know you have lights in your home and you can see everything clearly when they are on but video cameras LOVE LIGHT, give them MORE. In my video's I have 2 halogen spots (as used by construction workers) of 500 Watt each. The cheapest cam you can find (as in my ebay link 😊 ) will give good results if you point some very bright lights on the subject.
I'll be happy to help you out with your questions or with some tips and tricks, I really need feedback myself too. We could help each other reach a higher level in this video stuff 😊
I guess what I really want is somebody in there with me with a good camera who knows what (s)he is doing, but I guess I'd also feel pretty awkward so maybe not.
Suggestions to give me some inspiration are still very welcome too!
