Self bondage stocks - spy021 - 14 Nov 2012

I found this video http://xxxbunker.com/4216892

What do you think about this ? Mechanism looks like this one, that is used in handcuffs. Is it possible to escape without help? It will need rebuild a mechanism in such a way, that keyhole will be in the front of hand I think.

Keep it simple and make sure it cannot fall over.

A very easy device to get trapped looks like this:

If attached to a stand, the flap on the left falls over the lock thingy and must be removed manually. Instead, attach a string and pull it to get free. The string could be kept out of reach using a timed device.

Instead, you could mount padlock flaps near the arm holes where you can reach them (and the padlocks), then use padlocks and a timing device if you like.

Additionally, I would use a few pins between the upper and lower part, to make sure, they stay aligned.

I would like to build a similar device, but I am too lazy so far. I guess, the hardest part is to find suitable wood that doesn't splinter and get the shapes of the neck- and wrist-holes right.

I remembered that but didn't find it. The construction looks easy and reliable. I think, I have even seen detailed instructions to build this.

I know of a simple locking device to be used on stocks and it is infallible. it consists of a metal t strap reinforcement strap which can be bought at any hardware store. the piece looks like a metal t with holes drilled into it so it can reinforce wood joints. at the intersection of all three legs of the t strap you will drill a hole for it to pivot at. this hole will be in the lower arm of the stocks. holes will be drilled at the ends of the long legs of the t strap. one side will have a weight that will cause the t strap to rotate to an unlock position and the other side will have a greater weight of ice to cause it to rotate into a locked position. The upper perpendicular leg will be made into a latch by cutting a triangle off the top corner of the strap and a cutout under that triangle to latch onto a screw that it in the top arm of the stocks. the triangle rotates the strap toward the unlock direction as the screw on the upper arm comes down. as soon as the screw get into the notch that is cut in the strap the strap closes by the ice weight into the latched position now you have to wait for the ice to melt for the strap to release the screw
