The mighty DovSherman, who's epic work features regularly in this thread has been quite ill
I have been in the hospital by DovSherman on DeviantArt
From reading his post, he suffered a stroke, but has been very, very lucky and looks set for a full recovery.

I used to know the name of this artist. I'm thinking something like, "Romero" (but I could be wrong). His work seemed to appear randomly on magazine covers, back in the 70's. I always wondered if they were stand-alone works, or part of a series or story.
