Good Puppy is unusual & different from most of the sleepydoll/sleepyhead/ipwd files I find (the Aftercare file is sweet), Monarch Doll is more typical:
Dollification, a toy, empty mind (IQ) & obedience = pleasure & dolly amnesia/forget (though admittedly, Puppy has that too). *If* I remember correctly, some occasional BS triggers & sound effects are used, but not to the intense extent as in the Bubblehead Forever & especially the Bambi Bubblehead files, and is less sexually charged than those (though certainly there as a resulting passive object/toy for the desire of others & the fulfillment of one's own desires through those "others"). Some (not all) of the voice tracks have a Gracie-esque quality (but more more pleasant and not annoyingly over the top "cutesie" as Gracie often is).
If you slow down the playback by at least 50% or 75% you will have a better idea what is being fed to you (especially visually, there are a lot of rapid flashing visuals) and have a better chance not to trance - if their files tend to draw you in & work for you.
Bimbofication/Dollification are less my cuppa, though well made for A/V files, I don't (or don't let myself?) trance to them. If you have more specific questions feel free to ask & I'll try to answer - I only listened/watched/previewed them once with some short section slowed down replays via a temporary non VR 4k online source. Do you have all 5 Monarch files or just the main file?

Lasting effects: I only listened once (partially at lower speeds) and as above intentionally did not trance to Monarch when I did, so because of that, not in my specific case.
The effects are intended to be permanent (and protected by amnesia/forgetting what you have been listening to) and activated by triggers.
How "permanent" or long lasting something is, is very personal & depends on how often you listen to it over time. Normally things fade if you stop listening for a longer period. Some people claim to have triggers function on them for a very long period (a year +) of time after they have stopped listening to files... so it varies a lot. They fade pretty quickly for me in general, if I haven't heard a file in a long time, they can cause me to smile and remember them when I do hear a trigger, without actually triggering me. Think of the "Good Girl" trigger, which is used in every imaginable type of feminization "hypno" very often, that one tends to stick because you hear it so often & always triggers at least a warm, pleased, glowing, blissful feeling (for me at least).
I believe there were some IQ "protections" for your daily life while not being triggered, but I would need to re-listen to be sure and in which exact file(s). I seem to remember that by whom & when you could be triggered became less restricted by the end of some files (but I may be thinking of the Dolly/Bubblehead files... again I would need to re-listen to be sure).
If you tell me the exact name and length in time of the file you have, I can re-listen to it - all of the Monarch files are a slightly different.

There are some similarities, some of the same material is used in both (as 'tists very often do), both are aimed at the listener being submissive & primarily for the pleasure of others. I preferred Puppy personally, it is more playful, caring, sweet, deviantly teasing & personal than Monarch Doll (Puppy might work really well with a trusting dom/sub couple). The chastity/denial bits are not in Monarch.
Monarch Doll is bit more similar to BS (but not as strict a separation and not uniform restricted [well, to a degree with BS, people often complain there is a lot of bleed between the two] there is a second horny "Doll" personality (or perhaps inner desire) which takes over your "emptied" mind. The more extreme Dolly/Bubblehead files are even more like BS (and use a lot of the BS triggers often).
Although I'm not into dollification, the persona in Monarch was not as impersonal & cartoonish as in BS (again for me - I'm a bit tomboyish and do not desire being "Bambi" 🤷🏻♀️) & surprisingly I could relate to the Doll persona.
Without having a reliable transcript (of any hypnosis/brainwashing file for that matter), I would strongly suggest listening/watching it the first time at 50-75% reduced speed to see if you even agree with what you are being fed. If you find yourself drifting into trance even at a lower speed, stop the file, do something else for a bit (make & have a cuppa tea etc), when your head is clear, start again from where you left off and stop again if you start drifting.

My BS persona is just a voice.

Those with an available script do give me a feeling of relative safety though.

Wanted to throw my two cents into here on effectiveness of the files, I had watched the Bubblehead main file a few times, IDK if it's an intended trigger but there's a selfie part and I did take a picture of myself all dolled up and posted it a few places online, despite my apprehension about doing that for a long time. The thing is I didn't actually really remember the selfie trigger and I only really realized I had been hypnotized into getting over my fear by the file until a while after on a rewatch
I think they're one of the few video hypno creators that actually work or try to make it work, but YMMV

See picture, seems Cass (IPWD/Sleepyhead/Sleepydoll) creator is more settled once again and should be creating some more pup content again- maybe enough time has also passed that she would be refactoring what she had progressed with on that specific file/system. Looking to see if any novel stuff is build upon towards trans/pup theming or if it will be just direct suggestions of things and pleasure focused (in that limited manner than something overarching and more permanent lol)- Can probably guess what I would rather too haha.
There more information that a pup video was the file being focused on but I am struggling to currently source where I found it within the discord and with that quite possibly could mean this is no longer the case?
