I've been sharing files since the 00's (mirc, p2p, hosts, torrents, etc).
This is by far the most stupid filesharing method i've ever encountered. It actually discourages people from getting/sharing the files... it's a guarantee that many collections will die.
i've never been able to get connections or find a channel that i want. i've tried many times, i've added certs... i'm getting nothing. Not to mention the mental effort it takes, when my brain is scrambled from listening to hypno all day.
Why not upload packs on popular private trackers? i just don't get it guys... but anyway.

1. Its very rare for someone to take down their own upload, especially since they are able to upload it anonymously. And with hundreds of people downloading the content, and many people having seedboxes... a reupload is quite easy. Personally I have uploads dating back 15 years, still active with multiple seeders.
2. You hadn't mention it in the first post that both ends require each other's certificate to establish a connection.

Providers, hosters do that yeah... but I'm talking about about big porn torrent trackers which are alive for 20 years and don't care about copyright claims.
I'll maybe give a other shot to retroshare... maybe the solution was staring in my face and it was as simple as sharing my key as well. Again I'm telling you... it's too hard to do things when my brain is fuzzy from hypno. Even things that look simple.

- i added 538 certs... most were posted in txt files, i also added extra people with more than 3 posts here. Right now though they're 0 online, i don't if it's normal.
- i got 1 incoming request and i accepted it. i started to figure out how to browse / download their files, but the speed is very slow. i hope more people join with the same hash files that i want.
- Staying online all day i can't do. i shut down my desktop 2 hours in the afternoon and 8 hours at night.
