Just read through the fetishes thread noted above. Wow, I think I'm ready to pass a college level Psych exam. But, there are some interesting ideas that I took away from it.
Are we born with our fetishes (or even acquire them during early child development) and
they then lie unexplored or even dormant until brought to the surface by some external stimulation? For the sake of this discussion, that trigger might be Sissy Hypnosis. If this is the case, then we are talking about "permission" rather than "hypnosis".
