This isn't something that "true hypnosis" can do that "fake hypnosis" cannot. It's a specific subcategory of hypnosis that needs to be created with this specific goal in mind.
All that triggers really are are conditioned habits. This is where the "roleplaying" comes in, what I call the "fake it until you make it" part of hypnosis. Just passively being hypnotized will not ingrain behaviors into you, but playing along with suggestions and triggers for long enough very much will. Even something as simple as "I saw a red owl logo somewhere and it reminded me of an old hypnotist" is a trigger, just presenting as an association of one thing to another.

Exactly. The classic example I have is the way I managed to accidentally condition myself to wash my teeth when I go into the bathroom. I kid you not, I did it so often in autopilot that it became a proper trigger. It reached a point where I literally went "I am going to the bathroom. I do not want to wash my teeth. I will not do so"

I ended up washing my teeth, only to realize what I did afterwards and started cursing. This happened to me more than once. I was not faking or roleplaying. I literally did something I not only had no intention of doing, but had full intention of not doing. And this occurred completely naturally, with no active efforts to instill this triggered/conditioned response and yet it took a lot of effort to defeat. (and it's still not gone because the cause is still there, even though I've moved to a different house, with a different bathroom and different toothbrush. I still wash my teeth on autopilot, so I still randomly find myself washing my teeth in instances I had no intention of doing so)

Creating these kinds of responses and behaviors is the kind of hypnosis I'm the most interested in. Because imagine if this wasn't something that happened completely randomly, but rather a response that was specifically created and reinforced by a hypnotist, imagine if this random occurrence is that strong, how strong an actually intended and reinforced response would be.

Anyway, I just finished writing a... highly morally questionable script.

Edge your life away in bed, one hour at a time.txt (Size: 16.41 KB )

I'd say it's not so much without safeties, but with negative safeties. It's meant for people who kink off on wasting time masturbating, a subsection of emotional masochism. The idea is to make you, regardless of the way you feel, or what's going on in your life, make you literally unable to get up from bed in the morning, unless you spend at least one hour edging naked, with no porn. There's also heavy orgasm denial with very harsh words, encourages piss drinking and also entices you to keep going after that first hour, to lock yourself in and waste another and another, in a "just one more" mindset, and encourages you so that the worse you feel, the more likely you are to choose to go through another hour, "because it's hotter".
