Samantha had some serious health issues in early 2025, which were treated, but they pointed to potentially significant underlying problems. I really hope (s)he's doing okay.

We have developed a friendly rapport over time and discuss topics beyond just the hypno stuff. Anyway, I received an email, and (s)he's ok. I will ask if I can share an update here.

anbe, I know this was posted a few months ago, but your last sentence stayed with me: "I wish so much that I could go back to how I was before."
You may not return to the exact person you were ten years ago, but that does not mean you are trapped as you are now.
What you described sounds like a loop: pain or loneliness led to the material; the material produced intense sexual relief; that relief took energy and attention away from real intimacy; the resulting conflict and isolation pushed you back toward the material. We can argue about whether a file directly caused every consequence, but you do not need to win that argument before interrupting the loop that is clearly hurting you.
I also would not try to settle questions about sexuality, masculinity or identity while aroused, ashamed, exhausted, or listening to something designed to influence those questions. First create some distance from the stimulus. Later, with a clearer mind, you can decide what genuinely belongs to you.
For the first seven days, make access the immediate problem instead of demanding perfect willpower: remove the files, bookmarks and accounts; stop contact with the creator; do not "test" whether a recording still affects you; and notice the first link in the chain, not only the final relapse. Sometimes it begins hours earlier with isolation, lack of sleep, an argument, a substance, or the thought that one listen will not matter.
If you slip, stop the session there. One mistake does not require turning the rest of the night or week into a binge.
The urinary infections and changes in sexual function deserve a medical examination on their own. A doctor does not have to understand the whole hypnosis story to check those symptoms properly.
Are you still trying to get out of this? If you are, what usually starts the chain now: a particular feeling, a specific trigger, or the thought that one more listen will bring relief?
