I often find things I would like to have there but I would prefer not to have to send my ID to China. Has anyone else, here, been asked to show ID? Is it safe? Never happend happend to me. However I have a "good record". I'm not saying yours is not good. Ah... I think I saw this warning once when tried to pay for too many items at once. 1,2 or 3 by one is OK until you have a good history record. Also, now you can pay with Paypal. I tried to buy 2 items. I had never bought anything through this site before so no history. I did not see the paypal link that day but I will try again and look for it. Thanks RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Like Ra - 07 Nov 2018 (07 Nov 2018, 03:33 )essanym Wrote: I really hate when Chinese sites advertise non-latex items as latex. Who do they think they're fooling, lolThey are not fooling anyone, they simply do not care. I read quite a few funny stories about it. E.g. the famous one about the terracotta warriors - instead of the really ancient warriors they sent freshly made ones to a German museum. When the Germans discovered that, the Chinese said: "how come they are not genuine? They are made here, using the same technology like thousands of years ago, and they look the same." General Aliexpress discussions - madjack - 26 Nov 2018 Ohhh…. much excitement! Both my purchases have a ![]() They arrived very quickly (within 2 weeks) which for the price I payed is very impressive. Stand by for some in-depth reviews when I get time 'home alone' to properly test out my new items MJ RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - unicast - 18 May 2021 But it is too late now. European VAT & fees for custom declarations starting 1st July, in less than six weeks. If you lucky you can get it but maybe also not. RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Like Ra - 18 May 2021 (18 May 2021, 09:18 )unicast Wrote: European VAT & fees for custom declarations starting 1st JulyWhat will be changed? And you can ask the sellers to declare a lower value. Any VAT exeption will be waived and everything should be declared, which is usualy a paid service. So if you order anything for $1 you pay few cents VAT and from 3 to 8 euros for declaration to the spedition or post provider. RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Like Ra - 19 May 2021 For which country? In NL you do not have to pay or declare anything, if the value is lower than 20 euros. RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Max515 - 19 May 2021 Applies to all EU countries. But I read somewhere that there is a new option for marketplaces (such as Ebay, Aliexpress) to include the VAT in the price paid by the buyer and pay it back to the country of the buyer. RE: Huge sale on Aliexpress - Like Ra - 19 May 2021 Again, there is a non-taxable amount. Or you can buy from a warehouse in Spain, France, Germany, etc. No taxes. |
