How could scissors help here? Your palms are facing away from each other, and the lock is in the centre, right?

My palms are facing away from each other because the chain between the cuffs is pulled up towards the ice lock positioned at my neck. If I can manage the cut either of these ropes:
That tension will be gone after which I can stretch my arms and position my hands any way I want.

Wow, hopefully this ended quite well, this remind me a similar case when I almost got stuck using leather cuffs and padlocks because my hands where going numb really really quick and I couldn’t feel the key in my fingers…. Don’t remember how I got unstuck though. But it was close.

Oh my gosh! That sounds like a harrowing time, really glad you were able to get out safely! Really goes to show just how secure selfbondage can be (which is the goal, but not in this circumstance). Here's wishing you a recovery, both physically and mentally from the experience!
