I didn't get super deep into their files, but from what I saw they're not really doing real trance, and so there's no much expectation for the suggestions to stick.
The Librarian has 2 main file types, inductions and subliminals, and you're referring to the subliminals. They're meant to be listened to for around 30 minutes or more looped.
Her induction files are definitely proper hypnosis, with the first 10 or so minutes being a general induction and deepener.

The shorter files, usually labeled as subliminal, are meant to be listened to in the background, her recommendation was to loop for 30 minutes or longer.

If that's the case, maybe I was too dismissive. Do you find the Librarian files effective?

I definitely don't.

The hypnosis files are OKishin my opinion... the wording is sometimes too negative for me. Don't tell my brain I'm ugly and boring as a man, I already knew and feel this on a deep level (thanks to gender dysphoria) and don't need to be reminded of this fact, I would rather hear to concentrate on the change and the positives, thank you. The subliminals, I actually don't really feel an effect yet after trying to listen to them for like two weeks or longer, but I also have heard one or two of the negative worded sentences in them and I know my mind just shuts off any form of cooperation if it hears something like this.

If you are experiencing dysphoria, most erotic hypnosis files are probably not the best choice. Files outside of the erotic kink are probably a better choice if you are looking for more reaffirming and euphoric input. TBH, making contact (via local LGBT+ community events etc) & speaking with others who are going through the same directly about shared experiences is usually much more helpful, supportive & affirming than any "hypnosis" files can ever be.

Yes, while generally positive on the whole, thelibrarian often uses negative triggers for motivation (the unpleasant feeling of being unshaven for the body hair removal file etc) which can be upsetting and trigger.

Kemono is currently down or blocked again, if you did not get the PDF description files along with especially the "subliminal" files, it is a good idea to get them there & read/review them before listening to the files.  Since you can't access kemono at the moment, if there are any particular files for which you do not have the PDF descriptions, you can ask here & I'll check if I have a copy.

@Iniga I have most of the file descriptions and I already used some of them with more positive wording in a current prototype I'm working on (with my own TTS, binaurals etc. ). I don't have an issue with most kinky stuff as I'm into a lot of it or I'm not bothered by it (any more) but the negative wording is really a turnoff and makes me loose rapport with a lot of creators. I most often tend to create my own hypno-files and subliminals based on their work with the stuff that works.

My relationship with erotic hypnosis is a bit strange I think. It got me on the way, let me feel that it could be "real", that transitioning works in my head and that being a woman (Bimbo, doll, hucow or otherwise - best, just being a woman) for a short time makes me very happy (and this has nothing to do with the IQ play in the aforementioned cases). Erotic hypnosis made things possible for me, I love to paint my nails nowadays and would do a lot more if it becomes possible IRL given the opportunity. Would love to get in contact with some LGBTQ+ people in real life but that's something I hope I can pull off in the future. So far only my therapist and my wife know about the gender dysphoria issues I have.

Usually I try to cut out all the sissy references as I don't see me as one, the gay / bi-sexual stuff can usually stay in as I'm pansexual (as long as it isn't about losing all interest in woman) and I also tend to remove all the humiliation stuff as I'm not interested in it. More or less the opposite is true as I still look for files that let me lose my inhibition and shame, not increasing it.

The librarians files have a certain something IMHO - I especially like the inductions - and the rest can be "tempered" with to a certain degree. I love how the files lead you through a story, connected scenes and teach you things - reminds me a lot of Ericksonian hypnosis which is rarely used. And as I said, the inductions are nice. Way better than the dreaded muscle relaxation as it works more effective for my ADHD brain.

Ok, that's good you have the scripts 👍 ... I went back and re-read a couple of your older posts, I was perhaps a bit overly concerned. Dysphoria is crap.

"LGBTQ+ irl", well, June and Christopher Street Day (CSD) are not all that far away. There are usually a flurry of events during June. Just check the web for events in your area which might interest you, if you are not in a larger town, you may have to travel a little bit. Just get to know people, they will know others you will get to know etc., perhaps some who are in a relationship as you are. Some events are intended for certain age groups, which can be a big plus for meeting people you are more likely to have things in common with.

TheLibrarian's files "have a certain something IMHO", agree, I really enjoy them, though they are less hypnosis, more affirming - or some of the more erotic ones motivational/mood enhancing - for me. I'm pretty unaffected by the negative "motivators" fortunately, but also wish she would use them less.

"ADHD", I was misdiagnosed with ADHD as a kid. I was never hyperactive and issues with attention were more due to disinterest or the unimportance for me of some topics & my tendency to hyperfocus (or "flow") on things I do find interesting or important.  Anyways, TheLibrarian's clear text inductions work OK for me and are enjoyable, but the "relax & confusion" inductions which SB often uses work exceptionally well, my mind gives up. Do they work for you?

BTW: How did your "My man/husband is my bitch" remake go?

Thanks for asking, I've found a good TTS, changed the script a bit and I'm currently experimenting with some mix of subliminal, isochronic and binaural tones and sort of a rainy jungle as background/pink noise to mask it a bit and make it more relaxing to listen to. As I'm using lossless wav as a format I'm also currently trying to trim it down a bit in size.
