RE: Miscellaneous fetish items on eBay - Vacbedbound - 16 Mar 2019 Metal Anal Plug I bought this Plug, because i liked that they say it is made of stainless steel and i liked the shape and the thread to remove the bottom. I thought about screwing it on a chair or to a rod. But when it arrived i was disappointed. It is not made of stainless steel! It is made of zink die-cast with a crome layer on top, which is stainless but no steel and it can cause skin irritations. But there is an other problem: the both tips of the Bottom piece are curved to much, so it isn't comfortable to wear. RE: Miscellaneous fetish items on eBay - Tinker D - 16 Mar 2019 Good to know. But sorry you lost money. Can you return it? Maybe not. Feedback? RE: Miscellaneous fetish items on eBay - Vacbedbound - 16 Mar 2019 No, i think return is to compicated but it was only 10€ I am shure most of the aliexpress stainless steel Toys are not made from stainless steel. RE: Plugs, vibrators, watersport on eBay - Tinker D - 16 Mar 2019 At lease on eBay, you can give Negative feedback and get your money back. RE: Plugs, vibrators, watersport on eBay - Tinker D - 17 Mar 2019 No telling. I’ve seen a lot of fetish gear that is not what the seller says. I’m having an issue right now over a black maids outfit from “The Sissy Store”. I like it , but dropping a bill for an outfit that is comming from overseas with no real way to contact them? I don’t know. Real stainless steel (V2A 1.4301 or V4A 1.4401) is expensive. And it is hard to work with! If you don't cool your milling and drilling tools enough it hardens out and you can't work with it any longer. This is the reason why real stainless steel Toys are expensive. I am pretty sure that 90% of the Aliexpress toys aren't made from stainless steel. If you want to check if your Toy is made from stainless steel check the weight and if it is magnetic. Stainless steel is very heavy and not magnetic. RE: Plugs, vibrators, watersport on eBay - Like Ra - 18 Mar 2019 Just tested some of my chastity devices I ordered on Ali and eBay - all non-magnetic. RE: Plugs, vibrators, watersport on eBay - Tinker D - 18 Mar 2019 Actually, that doesn’t mean much. Zinc, putter, lead and Crome are also non magnetic. I’m sure that there is a test somewhere, but I don’t know where one would look. RE: Plugs, vibrators, watersport on eBay - Tinker D - 18 Mar 2019 Goggle says... Stainless steel is used in construction, vehicles, electrical goods and more. It is an iron-based alloy that contains chromium. Carbon, nickel, copper, titanium, aluminum, silicon, and nitrogen are other elements that are found in stainless steel. This metal is ductile, magnetic and resistant to corrosion, abrasion, erosion and electricity. If you are not sure whether an object or piece of metal is stainless steel, there is a way to tell. Step 1 Stick the magnet on the piece you are testing. If it holds firmly, the metal is possibly stainless steel. If not, it is another metal such as aluminum. Step 2 Pick a spot on the piece that you don't mind damaging a little. Step 3 Fill the eye dropper with muriatic acid. Drop a small amount of the acid on the test spot. Wait half an hour. Step 4 Wipe the acid off the piece. Examine the test spot. If it is discolored, the piece is stainless steel. |
