That dress does look interesting, yes, I would love it try it on myself. However, I don’t really think that it can be used for self bondage, as it looks like you’re going to need a partner to get you into it.
And, as we all know, when that zipper reaches to your neck, pulling it down tends to fold the neck back making almost impossible it unzip unless, again without your partner’s help.
And this one looks like just a sleeveless dress with a back zipper.
At least that’s what I see.

About the AliExpress ones: don't buy, I got burned a few times. They are badly made, the fabric and stitching is what you would expect but the measurements and fit is all over the place. It won't fit well even if you give them all measurements they can possibly need as they don't put in any effort designing this. They just take your money and ship something they can quickly make without trying to make it right.

I’ll agree with you on this one.
I have bought some dresses and jumpsuits from them, always in the largest sizes as possible. Then modified them to fit. Example, I use to have a faux leather catsuit. It fits me perfectly. I loved it. But was lost in the fire.
So I ordered a catsuit off Aliexpress, 7X. Other than being a bit on the short side, it fit me very well. Still, the measurements from the top of the shoulders to the crotch was too tight. So, I found the same material and ordered about 2 feet of it. A new zipper, extra long and 3/4 inch elastic band.
With a little help from a friendly seemstress, I got it extended. Also had the legs taken in a bit and added a croch zipper.
Now it really fits me very well. And I am super happy.
Now looking at a 2-peice outfit and a self bondage mummy bag.
I also saw an inflatable doll suit. You zip your self in, inflate it with a pump and you’ll look like an inflatable doll, but you can’t move.

The fake leather will start to peel off after ~2 years, even if you don't use it at all.

Seconded. I really liked mine when it was still in good condition although I admit in never quite fit that well. The thin fake leather started to crack and peel after about 2 years despite being well cared for.
I would buy one if you weren’t sure if you liked the feeling instead of dropping a large sum on something you aren’t sure you would like though. As for myself I plan to have it replaced with a better fitted and higher quality version some day
