I'm not so close to UA, 600 km, but who knows what MadVlad's next step will be. So far, about 1000 refugees arrived, mostly relatives, and business partners families. Same here, and I'm on the east side of EU RE: General ramblings and everyday life - Like Ra - 03 Mar 2022 (03 Mar 2022, 15:51 )Vixien Wrote: Maybe it's good idea, or we can do it here ?https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/showthread.php?tid=3585 RE: General ramblings and everyday life - Culmor - 17 Jun 2022 Anyone else playing Wordle? I have t very occasionally in two, often in three but slightly more often in four. Five is a bit more rare. Once I did not get the word. Once I ran into a word I did not know. It just had to be that word (primo). English is not my native language, but at my work it is the language of communication and also we write all articles in English. I always start the day with Wordle. It is a nice way to get going. RE: General ramblings and everyday life - Culmor - 17 Jun 2022 Yes, 'primo' the other day. That's not a word I've ever heard used in British English. RE: General ramblings and everyday life - Zooy - 17 Jun 2022 (17 Jun 2022, 07:04 )Culmor Wrote: Yes, 'primo' the other day. RE: General ramblings and everyday life - Culmor - 17 Jul 2022 Back to 'Animal Connect 2', I just had a strange experience playing it. I was looking at the grid, working out what were going to be difficult areas but my mouse hand was clicking away without me being conscious of what I was doing. I was clicking on pairs in areas I wasn't looking at without even being conscious of seeing them. It was a seriously wierd sensation when I realised what I was doing. I have this sometimes while playing sudoku's. The mouse hand knows already a few numbers while your attention is already going to look for others. The brain is clearly multi-tasking although it does take practise. With Animal connect 2 I never had it, but that I play usually with the touch screen on my (big) iPad. That feels much better than on the laptop with the mouse. RE: General ramblings and everyday life - Culmor - 30 Jul 2022 Living out in the sticks I've never attended a Pride event, not even my local-ish one. But someone I'm an 'internet friend' with is making a BDSM custume for her local one that I'd like to see 'in the flesh'. She's told me where and when and it's far enough away to need an overnight stop. I'm fine with that but I'm still very nervous and want to be a bit incognito. To those with experience, would one of my rubber cosplay costumes be acceptable? I suppose my HexDrone or rubber nun with my tinted gasmask would give me 100% coverage but I like the idea of classic Harley Quinn - any thoughts? |
