After the recent price change, we pay $872 annually, and we are running short of disk space. If we want to increase the storage by 160GB (without changing the hosting plan), it will cost $1232. See here: https://www.linode.com/pricing/

how much resources machine wise do you actually need/use?



for your 1k $ ill build you a dedicated bare metal & run from my local net.
na JK, i doubt ull trust me but it is posible & actaully what i do for a living

The site uses SSD storage, redundant 10Gb/s access nets, multiple static v4 and v6 addresses, backups, UPSes. What does your local net look like?

still tiny. a local bare metal & a VPS
local is the cloud filehost & the VPS handles my sites CMSs

everything open source & yeah ima 100% DIY kinda gal
