RE: Bambi Sleep stuff - sensitivesix - 07 Jul 2025 I find it disappointing that close to everything uploaded to Bambi Cloud is monetized now. I feel like it's only going to keep getting worse now that people realize they can make money off this. I'm no web expert, so my usual ways of snagging mp3 files are pretty basic and have all turned up no results in the attempt. TBH, I'd highly suggest installing (from the respective official sites) Firefox or perhaps better Brave on Macs (together with a good & functional ad-blocker plugin unlike the crippled Safari options & also privacy-badger) for more adventerous web browsing & use Safari for things like amazon/ali/social-media etc where you log in and are ruethlessly tracked anyways. Safari always always looses against them here (& Apple likes to know all about you too): https://www.eff.org/pages/cover-your-tracks RE: Bambi Cloud - Like Ra - 08 Jul 2025 (7 hours ago)Iniga Wrote: FirefoxAlways! Yes (I'm not on the last couple of releases), not as many as for windows, but the ones I always use are there [security/ad-block/vlc/startpage..] (huh, more than I thought, addons.mozilla.org says in Firefox on the mac for a show all search: "567,411 results found" more than for Linux 567,306 ). Except for some specific apps & interfaces for audio, I'm moving off Macs & to Linux for normal day2day use, Apple has become a bit overly nany restrictive, invasive, too short support times (as with all others) and Darwin is not what it used to be... I use adroid as a cell-phone OS 🤷🏽♀️. I don't use phones for web browsing much, except for a quick check or map if needed when out & about. Had too many jobs with on call duties, I find them annoying... decent as portable audio players though. |
