I'm planning to try out the mummification technique described here: http://www.likera.com/sb/tech/mumm1.php

However, I'm not sure what the best type of pallet wrap is to get. I'm looking at this: http://www.digiworld4u.co.uk/hand-pallet...76853.html

This is "security grade" pallet wrap, quite thick as the material goes and designed to avoid accidental puncture. It's also the only black pallet wrap I can find, which would be my preferred colour (rather than transparent).

Will it be possible to get out of this? The technique's description says that it requires a lot of struggling, and I guess that it would only be made harder (if not impossible) by thick wrapping material.

Also, I'd like to try it while wearing a zentai underneath. What effect would this have? Would it ruin the zentai? Make it easier to move? My (limited) experience with pallet wrap has shown me that though it sticks excellently to itself, it also has a slight sticky residue on the outside, which could ruin the spandex as if it causes it to stretch as I struggle.
Unlike sticky tape, usual pallet wrap does not have any applied adhesives and should not ruin anything and it does not stick to lycra. It sticks to itself or similar surfaces (e.g. latex).

Probably there are some variations with glue, but I haven't seen them.

The more layers and the tighter you are wrapped, the more difficult to get out. Also, think of overheating and blood vessels compression. The more you struggle, the higher the temperature, the more "intensive" the blood stream, the more the muscle swelling, the higher the compression, etc.

The bottom line is - I can't get you any recommendation. Only your own experience will tell: should you call an emergency (if you can), or should you just relax and do not move until your body relaxes and the heart rate drops. I would say that mummification is similar to a cardio training.

Hi,

you have to be very very careful if you try this sort of bondage.

This material is far more stronger than you think.

I am in the lucky position to be mummified from time to time. So I know what I am talking about.....

My wife has become a true saran wrap master....
(But dont give her some rope - at the end she put herself in some kind of bondage 😁 😁 )

Dont mess with the email printed on the pics. This is "our" email....
The mummy looks great, indeed. My compliments! (Wouldn't she like to join the forum, BTW? πŸ˜‰

Say her "ΠΏΡ€ΠΈΠ²Π΅Ρ‚" πŸ˜‰ She can write in German if she wants (need to invest at least an hour a day to get my German back on track).
Oh, with German we can help out, for sure 😊
I've used this technique with a lot of success, but I don't think it's necessary to wear anything else. The wrap I used was simple stuff from Staples (UK), and it was fine. Tape the utility knife inside your thigh (until you're confident about what you're doing), and use more wrap around the pole than you'd think. For the first time, don't put your arms behind your back, I'd say.
Also, you can get quite dizzy walking around the pole - shuffling towards the end - so take it easy and make sure you can't fall on anything hard (oo er!).
