Ohh, I found this not so new thread... I thougt about that in the past weeks...
My idea: take a hose that ist normally used by the firebrigades (I think they are tested up to 10 bar)
then form a kind of flat frame around you, (like a wooden frame you are bound to). Perhaps bend it around your bed posts as a kind of frame.
As long as there is no air in the hose, it is flexible, but once filled with air, it will become rigid and immobilizes you.
tubesize: I think a c-tube will give the desired rigidness..

the required endcaps to seal the tube can be foud there too.
filling method: fill the reservoir of you air compressor to the desired pressure, then IMPORTANT: unplug it from the powerline, so it will not deliver air any more
